Melon Chianti F1 is vigorous and well adapted to different cultural conditions. The fruit is oval, costly, very slightly rough, can reach 1.5-2 kg. The pulp is orangeshining, has high sugar content and dry matter.
Melon Chianti F1 is a hybrid resistant to Fusarium races 0, 1, 2 and semiresistant Podosphaera xanthii 1, 2, 3 and 5 and 0 and 1 Golovinomyces cichoracearum (powdery mildew of melons).
