Borlotto beans Lingua di Fuoco is a variety of climbing beans, with variegated, very large, cream-colored beans with red stripes and spots. The variety lends itself both to harvesting in the stage of pods, harvesting which is done somewhere 55 days after emergence, but also as harvesting in the stage of semi-dry beans, 70 - 80 days after emergence, a stage at which it is possible to get the beans.
The plant is vigorous and has a very high production.
Lobe length 13 cm and contain about 5-6 grains.
It is cultivated between April and July and has a vegetation period of 55 days (harvesting pods) or 70 - 80 days (dry harvesting, for grains).
Lingua di Fuoco beans are intended for consumption fresh or for preservation.
