Cannellino is the Italian bean that can be harvested both for pod consumption (in the green stage) and for consumption as dry beans/grains (in the stage where the pods have turned yellow). 

The Cannellino / Lingot bean variety stands out for its 12-14 cm green pods, which later turn yellow, with medium-sized beans, of the classic shape (round-oblong). 

The beans are white in color and have the advantage of a quick boil,  keep their shape after boiling.

The cultivation of Cannellino / Lingot beans  offers the advantage of a very fast production

The variety lends itself to mechanized harvesting, having a maximum height of 55 cm.
