Touareg is resistant to aphid attack, LMV (salad mosaic virus), and hand. The bright green captains are compact and can reach great dimensions. Touareg has a good tolerance to the emission of floral stems and to the marginal necrosis of the leaves. The leaves of equal size, fine, the color and the special shape of the captains make Touareg an excellent variety for sale and consumption in fresh condition. Touareg is recommended both for cultivation in the open field and in protected areas.
