Volturno F1 RZ is a hybrid with very good yield, suitable for summer - autumn, in the field, but also in spring, in protected areas. It has a strong, waxy, upright foliage and is not sensitive to the diseases caused by fungi nor the periods of precipitation. The flattened shape of the bulb is attractive and not only retains it for a long time, but it is not prone to indoors.

The tuberized stem of 10-15 cm, light green, retains its characteristics, after the torrential rains of summer. The longest hypocotyl in the assortment and therefore its harvesting is very easy, it can be made in good quality, without being dirty.

The stem is strong and is not inclined to tilt even during its seeding period. The deep, aggressive roots help to develop the plants under the conditions of a harder soil. Good growth under semi-intensive culture, because it develops enough leaves and is not sensitive to bulb cracking.
