Promontor is an indeterminate hybrid with hanging, elongated tapered, greenishwhite, sweet, and especially large fruit, very wide shoulders. The fruits weight is 120150 g and are greenishwhite at harvesting maturity and red at full ripening. It is a stress and cold tolerant breed with high yield, suitable for greenhouse and open field production. It grows very strong branch and rootsystem. It is slightly sensitive to calcium deficiency.

It has maximum resistance to Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV).
