Zalkod is an indeterminate hybrid with hanging, tapered, white, sweet, large fruit. The fruits weigh 120140 g. It is white in harvesting maturity and red in full ripening. It has high vigour and relatively short internodes and is less susceptive to low luminosity. Fruit setting is reliable and excellent also during the lowlight winter period. It is not susceptive to purple colouring. It shows the highest resistance to Tobacco Mosaic (TMV) and Óbuda Pepper (ObPV) viruses. It is resistant also to Tomato Spotty Wilt Virus and to nematodes.
