Emese is an indeterminate, powerful hybrid with upright, elongated tapered, white sweet and large fruit. Regular shaped fruit, large and thick walled, weighing 90- 120 g. White at harvesting maturity and red at full ripening; fruit size is kept until the end of the cultivation season. The plant has short internodes, moderate vigour and high yield. It develops quickly and produces weak side shoots. Due to its low sensitivity to light deficiency the fruit setting is good also during the lowlight, winter periods. It has maximum resistance to Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV).
